This is a photograph by Carrie Mae Weems, she is applying her creative background to take on gun violence in local urban communities and how it affects everyone around it. I can relate to this photo in many ways. one way I can relate to this photo is because i have families members that were affected by the gun violence. My cousin was shot by a gang member but luckily survived.I also have friends who have family members who have died from gun violence. Everytime I watch the news I always hear about someone being shot or killed from gang and gun violence. These are some ways I can relate to this picture that Carrie Mae Weems did on gun violence.
